Stabbing pain under your heel, especially with your first steps in the morning? The right support takes pressure off your heel, so walking feels comfortable again.
What is a heel spur?
A heel spur is a bony growth on the underside of the heel bone, often combined with an overloaded plantar fascia. It usually develops from standing for long periods, a lot of walking or a deviating foot position.
What can help?
- Heel cups from Tuli's and Spenco for extra cushioning under your heel
- Gel insoles that absorb impact with every step
- Supportive insoles that support your arch and relieve the plantar fascia
How to choose
Spend a lot of time on hard floors? Go for extra cushioning, such as a heel cup or gel insole. Notice your foot rolling inwards? Then an insole with firm arch support helps.
