The Bauerfeind RhizoLoc OA is a lightweight thumb orthosis for osteoarthritis, arthritis and overuse of the thumb saddle joint or thumb base joint. By immobilising the thumb in a targeted way, the orthosis helps reduce pain.
An anatomically shaped plastic splint and a self-adhesive wrap strap place the thumb in a natural, relieving position. The strap ensures a secure fit all day long, without restricting your grip.
Soft, flexible edges and perforations make the RhizoLoc OA comfortable to wear. All materials are robust and water-resistant, so you can keep wearing the orthosis while washing your hands or doing the dishes. A second thumb strap is included to swap.
