An injury to the thumb is one of the most common hand injuries. This usually occurs when a strong force bends the thumb backward, away from the palm. In most cases, there is damage to the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) located on the inner side of the MCP joint. These thumb injuries are also known as skier's thumb or gamekeeper's thumb. The injury can occur in three degrees: mild, moderate, and severe. For all three cases, the Reh4Sport Thumb Brace is an excellent choice to treat the injury.

The Reh4Sport Thumb Brace features an aluminum and lightly moldable splint that fully immobilizes the thumb and promotes the healing process of the injury. Furthermore, the brace is made from unique, innovative fabrics for optimal wearing comfort and is suitable to wear under gloves. The lightly elastic UniPren fabric regulates temperature and improves healing after injury.

The thumb brace is designed so that only one universal size is available, fitting both the right and left hand. The brace is suitable for a wrist circumference from 11 cm up to 23 cm.
